Class A Scout Uniform
The Class A Uniform is to be worn at all Scout functions
unless announced otherwise.
- Scout shirt (Long or Short Sleeve)
- Red Shoulder Loops
- Uniform Pants (long, short or convertible)
- Web Belt (required for pants with belt loops)
- Scout Socks
- Troop 419 Cap
- Neckerchief (BSA Green, Troop 419 Red or High Adventure Plaid) – scouts new to the troop should purchase the standard BSA green neckerchief only.
BSA Uniform Insignia (available through Troop 419) - includes CPC patch, troop numeral, Quality Unit patch, World Scout Crest emblem, Wapiti District Patch.
Troop 419 maintains a uniform bank with "experienced uniforms" for anyone needing one or wanting to donate one in good condition. Contact the Troop 419 quartermaster, James Dolan, or Committee Quartermaster, Ted Krupicka.
Class B Scout Uniform
Substitute a BSA T-shirt for the regular uniform shirt and neckerchief. Announcements will be made when the Class B Uniform is to be worn (usually on campouts and service projects). While any BSA T-shirt is allowed, Troop 419 has a special logo red T-shirt available to purchase.
Venture Crew Uniform
On High Adventure outings, the uniform will be either the Class A uniform (with the High Adventure plaid neckerchief) or the Class B uniform, both specified above. The appropriate uniform for each outing will be determined and communicated by the outing leadership.
